Do you remember the story of the Emperor who wore no clothes? He lied to his kingdom and they ignored their own eyes and went with the lie.
That is how I feel about John McCain. He continues to distort and lie about his record and about the record of his opponent. McCain lies to the American people and hopes that we will ignore our own eyes. He hopes that we will buy his lies and vote him into the White House.
I challenge all villagers to do what the little girl did in that story. She believed her own eyes and candidly pointed out to everyone, 'The Emperor has no clothes!'. This election is too important for America to let it be stolen. Villagers, it's time to step up and candidly point out to everyone, 'John McCain is a liar'.

McCain has acted as any slick, hypocrital, yet tactical politician. He chose what America hold dearest as his running mate. This creates (for some) a sense of feeling torn in their decision to vote for a Black man and not vote (indirectly) for a white woman. It reminds me of the highly controversial movie "The Birth of A Nation". Palin's candidacy panders to the far right and those undecided in a way that "we" here in America can see all too clearly.
I just hope when voters enter that extremely private and personal voter's booth...they make the right choice. It's not going to get any better these next 8 weeks...it's going to get much worse.

Like in advertising, you must search out the truth for yourself before you buy into anything.
I’m disgusted with all the mud slinging and it seems to be intensifying. It's a shame having to witness from both sides all the political digs and distortions.
Can’t we be civilized and present facts to the people and let them make an assumption for themselves who the right candidate is.
Oh well, wait for the debates when they bring out their big guns!
Believer - I'm going to share incidents where I think that John McCain, Barack Obama, Joe Biden or Sarah Palin are lying to us ... the American voters. I see another whopper was told by McCain during his visit to 'The View'. I'll put a post about it online tonight...
